How are opponents assigned in the Battle on the Isles?
The opposing Order is assigned according to three criteria:
- It chose the same time period for its battles as your Order
- It is in the same Isles League as your Order
- Its Power is similar to your Order's
You can read more about Isles Leagues in the "Battle on the Isles. Tournament features" subsection.
Orders that chose the same time period and are in the same Isles League are assigned to the same group. Groups can contain up to 10 Orders, which are divided into pairs.
If a group contains an odd number of Orders, the Order with the lowest Power is dropped from the Tournament. The remaining opponents are divided into pairs with similar Power.
Sometimes, an Order with more Power can become the opponent of an Order with less Power. There can be two reasons for this:
- The stronger Order lost in the previous Battle on the Isles and was demoted into a League in which Orders with less Power compete.
- The Order whose Power was closest to your Order's was dropped from Battle on the Isles due to there being an odd number of participants in the group.
