Study categories in the "Foreign expertise" tab

In contrast to standard Studies, this type of Studies unlocks once the Academy building reaches a certain level.

Studies of the first stage become available to be conducted after you reach Academy level 31. They are divided into three categories:

• Attacking — improves your troops' stats during attacks.
• Defending — improves your troops' stats during defense.
• Castles I — improves your troops' stats during battles for Castles.

Once your Academy reaches level 36, Studies of the second stage become available. They are divided into six categories:

• Offense — improves the offense of your troops.
• Defense — improves the defense of your troops.
• Health — improves the health of your troops.
• Tier VIII Warriors — improves the offense, defense, health, and training speed of your tier VIII warriors.
• Towns — improves your troops' stats during battles for Towns.
• Castles II — improves your troops' stats during battles for Castles.
