Orders War
The Orders War is a worldwide Tournament held between Orders from different Kingdoms. To win the Tournament, one of the Orders must earn more points than the other in as many categories as possible. If the opponents succeed in an equal number of categories, the Order that earned the most points overall wins.
You can find out all the necessary information about the Tournament in the following ways:
- Open the Orders War Tournament box in the Events window
- Select the Orders War Tournament icon on the Kingdom map or World Map
- Go to the "Kingdom news" window and open the corresponding news item
The Tournament takes place in either your home Kingdom or on the territory of the enemy Order. You can relocate your Town between Kingdoms using the Invasion and Return items.
Tournament features
You can take part in the Orders War if:
- You are an Order member when the Tournament is announced
- Your Order has earned at least 500,000,000 Power points
- Your Kingdom was founded at least 30 days ago
- Your Order was created at least 30 minutes before the Tournament is announced in the "Soon to be active" section of the Events window
- An opponent was found for your Order
The level of its activity in the previous Orders War also affects which division an Order is placed in. Depending on the number of checkpoints passed, all Orders are divided into four groups:
- Orders that neither reached the first checkpoint nor earned any points.
- Orders that passed the first checkpoint, but didn't reach the second.
- Orders that passed the second checkpoint, but didn't reach the fifth.
- Orders that passed the fifth checkpoint.
If an Order doesn't have a matching opponent from within its group, then one is picked out of the previous group.
If there's an odd number of participants, either the youngest Order or the one that has the least number of Power points is excluded from the Tournament.
To see detailed information about your opponent, hit the enemy Order icon in the Orders War Tournament window.
Earning points
Points are counted towards personal and Order achievements. They can be earned either in your home Kingdom or in the enemy Kingdom. You will get more points for actions performed in enemy territory.
To earn points in the Orders War, you need to complete the Tournament tasks.
In total, there are eight categories of tasks:
- Capturing an enemy's Eternal Stronghold – capture an enemy's Eternal Stronghold and hold it until it changes its status to Guarded.
- Battles in the Order Citadel – eliminate enemy warriors and foreign armies in the Order Citadel.
- Destroying enemy warriors during offense – attack and eliminate enemy troops in any location.
- Destroying enemy warriors during defense – defend yourself in any location and eliminate enemy troops.
- Destroying enemy warriors – eliminate your opponent's troops in any location.
- Training, healing, and resurrecting warriors.
- Hunting Assailants and Apostates, and yielding resources in resource locations.
- Gaining Power and developing the Order Citadel – earn points by constructing and upgrading buildings, conducting Studies in the Towns of Order members, as well as by constructing and upgrading buildings, conducting Studies, and transforming resources in the Order Citadel.
In the "Capturing an enemy's Eternal Stronghold" category, there are no tasks that will bring you points for Order and personal achievements when you complete them. Each successful attempt at capturing the Eternal Stronghold and subsequently holding it until it changes its status to Guarded brings an Order two points in the Tournament.
The total number of points in all categories is equal to the total Order points.
Rules for scoring points for subcategories in the "Gaining Power and developing the Order Citadel" category:
- Points for the "Gain Power in the Town" subcategory are counted for constructing and upgrading buildings, and conducting Studies in your own Town; they will count towards personal and Order achievements.
- Points for the "Gain Power for the Order Citadel" and "Transform resources in the Citadel" subcategories only count towards Order achievements and not the Master's or Counselors' personal achievements.
If a Lord who joined an Order in the 30 minutes before the worldwide Tournament was announced becomes the Master, the Order won't earn points for the "Gaining Power and developing the Order Citadel" category.
If the checkpoints were passed due to the points for developing the Order Citadel alone, then only the Master will receive notifications about this and the subsequent rewards for doing so. Moreover, if the Order wins, none of its members will receive a reward for or notification about the Tournament victory. However, the bonuses that speed up processes will be effective in all the Order members' Towns and in the Order Citadel itself.
To be victorious, an Order needs to earn more points than its opponent in most categories. If, at the end of the Tournament, the competitors both have the lead in the same number of categories, then the Order that scored the most points in total will be the winner.
If your Order wins, all its participants who earned at least one point will receive a reward.
Rules for scoring points
Order members
Each Lord earns personal points and Order points.
The opposing Order gets points for destroying these Lords' warriors.
Lords who joined an Order 30 minutes before the Tournament was announced or later
These Lords don't earn personal points and Order points.
The opposing Order gets points for destroying these Lords' warriors.
Lords who leave an Order or are expelled from it during the Tournament
These Lords don't earn rewards for the new achievements of the Order.
Lords who change their home Kingdom by using the Carriage item and join an Order during the Tournament
These Lords don't earn personal points and Order points.
The opposing Order gets points for destroying these Lords' warriors.
If one of the Orders is disbanded
The Order members lose all the points they have earned, while the opposing Order is declared the winner and continues to earn points for completing tasks.
If the Orders War tasks are the same as those for other Tournaments, points will be added for all Tournaments.
You will receive rewards for personal achievements if your Order wins the Tournament.
End of the Tournament and rewards
If you are in the enemy Kingdom when the Orders War ends, your Town will automatically be returned to your home Kingdom in place of the Town's Shadow.
The relocation to your home Kingdom is instantaneous. Marches and attacks will be canceled, and your armies, carts, and Hero will automatically appear in the Town.
There are five types of rewards for victory in the Orders War:
Rewards for checkpoints (1–10). These are received by Lords who have earned at least one point in one of the categories of tasks during the Tournament. To learn more about the rewards, expand the box of the corresponding checkpoint.
Rewards for legendary checkpoints (11–15). They go to Lords who have earned a certain number of points for personal achievements in the Orders War. In the Tournament window, these checkpoints have a special frame. If you don't earn the required number of points for personal achievements, you won't be able to get a reward for legendary checkpoints even if your Order is victorious.
Rewards for members of the winning Order. Bonuses that speed up processes in the Citadel and Order members' Towns will be active for seven days. Lords who earned at least one point during the Tournament receive Dominion Keys.
Rewards for the Master of the winning Order. If the Master earned at least one point towards personal achievements, the Master receives resources for the Order's development along with the other rewards. The amount of resources depends on the League the Order belongs to and the total number of points earned during the Tournament.
You can view the amount of resources the Order receives for winning the Tournament in the "Rewards for victory in the Orders War" box of the Orders War window.
Rewards for taking a top place in the Orders War Tournament ranking. If your Order takes a top place in the ranking, all its members who earned at least one point in the Tournament receive a reward. The value of the reward depends on the League your Order belongs to and the position it has reached.
The losing Order doesn't get any negative bonuses.
